Another day, another blog. I’ve set up hundreds (probably dozens for myself at this point) but I hope this one sticks. WordPress in particular I’ve been setting up since 2006 (when it came out!!)
This one, unlike most blogs of today, will be hyper-unfocused, not tested, not clickbaited, not SEO tweaked, or anything of that sort. It’s going to be a real, live, journal, with unfiltered writing. “Authentic”. That’s the aesthetic in 2020, right?
Right now I’m writing with a cat directly in front of my monitor, so I can’t even spellcheck. Thanks Orpheus! Judging by the way he is cocking his head, he considers himself my editor now. He particularly enjoys the blinking I cursor when it stays in one place as I consider my next sentence.
Anyhow, you can expect to see works in progress, random thoughts and rants, collectings from around the web, and other bloggy type things. I just need a place to spew under my own name with no “content strategy” or end goals. Enjoy!
